Firefox 4 is almost in the starting blocks. You can experience the full Beta version of the upcoming Mozilla browser.
Version 4 of the Mozilla browser is supposed to get a completely new look that recalls the look of Google Chrome. Tabs will be placed over the address bar and the menu bar will get a simpler design. The menu bar will probably disappear completely - a manual activation is likely.
For the first time each tab will be realized as a separate process. If one tab crashes, then the others should continue without problems. At least, that's the theory. Today it's still a big problem that a crashed tab usually brings down the whole browser.
Also new: With Firefox Sync Mozilla wants to add a default add-on, that enables the user to synchronize his bookmarks on multiple computers. An account manager is to manage all user-names and passwords. To log in to a portal such as Facebook or Google Mail, a single click on the tool will suffice.

If you dread to download this experimental Preview version, you can give your current Firefox-Browser the look of the upcoming version with the free theme Strata40.
